After years of leading the acclaimed octet Brian Andres & the Afro-Cuban Jazz Cartel, Brian Andres felt the time was ripe to liberate the rhythm section. More than a spinoff, Andres' Quartet is a powerhouse ensemble that has forged its own identity with high-octane performances and a repertoire bristling with ambitious, jaw-dropping tunes. The quartet's debut album Dos Gatos Negros introduces a thrilling new combo, with original compositions and interpretation to Latin Jazz favorites. The Brian Andres Quartet features Grammy Award Winning Pianist, Christian Tumalan and Saxophonist Tony Peebles, Acclaimed Bassist, Aaron Germain, and Celebrated Drummer and Bandleader, Brian Andres.

Kenya Moses' Bossa e Bossa

kenya moses' bossa e bossa: brazilian Jazz

Kenya Moses embodies the essence of Brazil's bossa nova in her warm and heartfelt sound. Born in the United States, yet connected to her Afro-Brazilian roots, Kenya fell in love with the sounds of Brazil after 15 years performing as a classical vocalist and flautist. Kenya's vocal resonance has allowed her the opportunity to perform throughout the Western and Eastern United States, in addition to Italy and France. With acclaimed musicians by her side, Kenya will release her first album of bossa nova duets in late 2022.
